As the Operations Manager at Jacob May Design, a bespoke furniture design/build studio, I was responsible for managing all day-to-day operations including CNC operation and tool maintenance. In this role I strove to maximize the team's efficiency through processes and procedure. For example, I was instrumental in creating universal tooling and manufacturing procedures which led to increased production capabilities, all while meeting customer expectations and deadlines. Furthermore, I developed hardware/ consumable systems for inventory and ordering, managed internal e-commerce platforms and sales, thereby increasing throughput and revenue. I maintained safety and OSHA standards on/off site, overseeing RFQs with freight and white glove carriers. In addition, I supported a variety of subcontractors, vendors, and internal/external accounts receivable.
